Welder Assistant

We are in need of a Welder Assistant to join our team in Isa Town. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$. As a Welder Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the welder with various tasks such as preparing materials, setting up equipment, and cleaning work areas. No prior experience is required, but candidates must have a strong interest in welding and be willing to learn on the job. Accommodation will not be provided, so candidates must already be based in Isa Town or willing to relocate at their own expense.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the welder with various tasks such as cutting, grinding, and welding.
- Prepare materials by measuring and cutting according to specifications.
- Set up equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.
- Clean work areas and maintain tools and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interest in welding and willingness to learn on the job.
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
- Physically fit to handle heavy materials and equipment.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Preferred:
- Experience working in a welding environment or vocational training in welding.
- Knowledge of different types of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding.
