Junior Electrical Engineer


As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development and maintenance of electrical systems for various projects. You will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure all designs meet client specifications and comply with industry standards. This role is based in Salalah, Oman and is open to candidates without experience who possess a biometric passport.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for projects
- Conduct research and gather information to support design decisions
- Create technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure designs meet client specifications
- Communicate with project managers to provide updates on progress and discuss any issues or concerns
- Perform calculations to determine system requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Participate in site visits to assess existing electrical systems and identify potential improvements or upgrades
- Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation or operation of electrical systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, codes, and standards
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to perform accurate calculations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Preferred:
- Prior internship or work experience in the field of electrical engineering
- Familiarity with renewable energy sources such as solar or wind power
- Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS) and energy management systems (EMS)
