Indian Restaurant Manager in Abu Dhabi
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Indian Restaurant Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managing and operating Indian restaurants, as well as excellent leadership and customer service skills.
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and ensuring the profitability of the business. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food and service, as well as manage inventory, budgeting, and staffing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant's operations including food preparation, service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction
- Create and implement policies and procedures to maintain consistency in quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients at competitive prices
- Train and manage staff members including servers, cooks, and other support staff
- Create schedules for staff based on business needs while ensuring adequate coverage at all times
- Oversee financial management including budgeting, reporting, and cost control measures
- Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and resolve them in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with health code regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing an Indian restaurant
- Strong understanding of Indian cuisine with knowledge of traditional cooking techniques and ingredients
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff members effectively
- Proven track record of successfully managing budgets, controlling costs, and increasing profitability
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience for guests
- Fluent in English with proficiency in Hindi or other Indian languages preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
