Welder (Khasab)


We are in need of a skilled Welder to join our team in Khasab. As a Welder, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing metal parts by joining them together using various welding techniques. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate welding equipment safely and effectively
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine proper welding techniques
- Measure and mark workpieces for welding
- Ensure all welds meet quality standards
- Repair damaged or worn parts by welding new pieces onto existing structures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
- Strong understanding of different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with various welding equipment and tools
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in various positions
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month. Additionally, accommodation will be provided.

Location:
This role is based in Khasab, a beautiful coastal city in Oman known for its stunning beaches, mountainous landscapes, and rich cultural heritage. While the preference is for local candidates, we welcome applicants from other nationalities who are willing to relocate.
