Part-Time Welder
We are searching for a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team on a part-time basis in Khasab, Oman. As a Part-Time Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to blueprints and specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine welding requirements
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform various types of welding, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding
- Select appropriate materials for welding based on project requirements
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, or sanding before welding
- Inspect welded joints for quality control and make necessary repairs as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while performing duties
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Proficiency in various types of welding techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent attention to detail
- Physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid certification in welding from a recognized training program or institution
- Prior experience with metal fabrication projects
