Carpenter vacancy in Salalah Oman

Carpenter (Contract)

We are searching for a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Salalah. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures, such as walls, floors, roofs, and doors. You will also be tasked with reading blueprints and following building plans to ensure accuracy and quality in your work. Experience is not required for this role; however, we are looking for someone who possesses a strong work ethic and is eager to learn.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to blueprints
- Cut and shape materials using hand or power tools
- Assemble and fasten materials with nails, screws or adhesives
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings etc.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic understanding of carpentry techniques and tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans
- Physically fit to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn on the job

$1600 per month
