Excavator Operator - Nairobi, Kenya


We are currently hiring a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move and grade earth and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator efficiently and safely according to job site requirements
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine excavation requirements
- Communicate with other team members to ensure smooth operations on the job site
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each job
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating an excavator
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Excellent communication skills
