Entry-Level Cashier in Nairobi, Kenya



We are seeking a reliable and friendly Entry-Level Cashier to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions and maintaining accurate cash registers. This is an ideal position for someone looking to gain experience in the retail industry.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist them with their purchases
- Scan and process items accurately and efficiently at the cash register
- Accept payments using cash, credit cards, or other forms of tender
- Count money at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accurate balance
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with restocking shelves and inventory management as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier is preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic math skills to handle transactions accurately
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills in English (Swahili is a plus)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.
