Job Title: Dietitian
Location: Nairobi, Kenya


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietitian to join our team in Nairobi. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition advice and counseling to patients and clients. You will assess their dietary needs, create customized meal plans, and monitor their progress towards achieving their health goals. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field, as well as previous experience in clinical or community-based settings. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with individuals from diverse backgrounds is essential. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments for clients and patients
- Develop personalized meal plans based on individual needs and goals
- Educate clients on proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices
- Monitor clients' progress towards achieving their health goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for patients
- Stay up-to-date on current research and trends in nutrition science
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment plans

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in clinical or community-based settings
- Knowledge of current nutrition guidelines, principles, and practices
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficient computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
- Experience working with individuals with chronic diseases or special dietary needs
- Fluency in Swahili
