Electrician (Contract) - Nairobi, Kenya


We are currently seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya on a contractual basis. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in the field of electricity and a passion for providing quality work.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical wiring and equipment
- Install and maintain wiring, control systems, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatuses or components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
- Comply with all safety standards and regulations while working on job sites

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrician
- Ability to read technical diagrams
- Knowledge of local building codes
- Good physical condition
- High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Technology is preferred
- Valid driver’s license

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
