Radio Technician


We are a leading radio broadcasting company based in Nairobi, seeking a skilled and dedicated Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain radio transmitters, receivers, antennas, and other related equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radio technology and make recommendations for updates or upgrades as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols when working with high-voltage equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the broadcasting system

Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of radio frequency principles and understanding of radio communication systems
- Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures accurately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1400 per month.

Location:
