Radio Technician

We are seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Nairobi. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment used for communication purposes. You should have a good understanding of electronic principles and be able to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues. The ideal candidate should possess a biometric passport and be willing to travel for work as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair radio equipment according to specifications
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of radio equipment
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on radio equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding technical issues and solutions
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in radio technology

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in electronics is a plus
- Proven experience working with radio equipment (previous experience as a Radio Technician is preferred)
- Strong understanding of electronic principles and ability to read schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is an advantage)
- Biometric passport (or willingness to obtain one)
Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
