Plumber Technician



As a Plumber Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings. Your role will involve handling various tasks such as reading blueprints, identifying and fixing plumbing issues, and installing new pipes and fixtures. You will also be required to work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting inspections to identify plumbing problems
- Reading blueprints and drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Installing pipes, fixtures, and appliances such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, etc.
- Repairing or replacing broken or damaged pipes and fixtures
- Performing routine maintenance on plumbing systems
- Collaborating with other team members to complete projects on time
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant codes and regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plumber or Plumbing Technician
- In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems and their functioning
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients
- Physical strength and stamina for performing manual labor tasks
- Attention to detail for identifying issues and providing accurate solutions
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment related to plumbing work

Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus)
- Relevant certification (e.g. Journeyman or Master Plumber)
- Previous experience in commercial plumbing projects is a plus

Salary: USD 900 per month (with accommodation)
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
