Housekeeping Supervisor



We are in need of a reliable and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. This position is suitable for male candidates and offers a salary of 1000$ per month with accommodation provided.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff. Your main duties will include training and supervising housekeepers, inspecting rooms and public areas for cleanliness, maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

To excel in this role, you should have previous experience as a Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisor in a hotel or similar setting. You must also possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Good communication skills are essential as you will be interacting with both guests and staff members.

Responsibilities:
- Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and standards
- Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and report any maintenance issues
- Monitor supply inventory levels and submit purchase requests when necessary
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests or complaints
- Schedule staff shifts and assign tasks based on occupancy levels
- Conduct performance evaluations for housekeepers
- Maintain records of staff attendance and disciplinary actions if necessary

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisor in a hotel or similar environment
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate a team
- Attention to detail with good time-management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality management is a plus
