Drafting Engineer

As a Drafting Engineer in our fast-paced and dynamic company, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for various projects. Your main tasks will include using CAD software to create accurate 2D and 3D drawings, collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure designs meet specifications, and reviewing designs for accuracy and feasibility. You should have experience in drafting and be familiar with industry standards and regulations. A biometric passport is preferred for travel to project sites. This position is open to all qualified candidates regardless of gender.

Responsibilities:

- Use CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure designs meet specifications
- Review designs for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with industry standards
- Prepare technical documentation and reports
- Communicate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and technology
- Travel to project sites as needed (biometric passport preferred)

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Drafting Engineer or similar role
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Biometric passport preferred but not required

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field.

Salary:

Starting salary of $1,100 per month.

Location:

This position is located in Nairobi but may require travel to project sites.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with standard work hours from Monday-Friday.
