Seamstress/ Tailor

We are seeking a skilled Seamstress or Tailor to join our team in Nairobi. As a Seamstress/Tailor, you will be responsible for creating and altering garments with precision and attention to detail. This is a contract job with a salary of 1100$, suitable for men with experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut fabric according to patterns or measurements
- Sew garments using various techniques and machines
- Alter clothing to fit customers' specific measurements
- Repair damaged or worn clothing
- Collaborate with designers to create custom garments
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Seamstress or Tailor
- Experience using different sewing techniques and machines
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and sewing fabrics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility in working hours, including nights and weekends if needed

Preferred qualifications:
- Formal training or certification in tailoring or fashion design
- Experience working with different fabrics such as silk, cotton, wool, etc.
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and styles
