We are currently seeking experienced Blast Furnace Operators to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the blast furnace in order to efficiently produce quality iron and steel products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor blast furnace equipment, including charging materials, controlling temperature and pressure, and adjusting valves and controls.
- Conduct regular inspections of the furnace and make necessary adjustments to maintain proper operation.
- Monitor gauges, meters, and thermometers to ensure safe and efficient operation of the furnace.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make repairs as necessary.
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in metallurgy or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a blast furnace environment.
- Knowledge of blast furnace operation and maintenance techniques.
- Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
