Smelter Operator



We are seeking a skilled and reliable Smelter Operator to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining industrial furnaces used in the smelting of various metals. This is a full-time position, suitable for men with or without prior experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor industrial furnaces according to established procedures and safety guidelines
- Load and unload materials into the furnace using forklifts or other equipment
- Monitor temperature and pressure levels to ensure efficient smelting process
- Inspect and maintain equipment, performing minor repairs as needed
- Follow proper handling and storage procedures for raw materials and finished products
- Document production data and report any issues or abnormalities to supervisors
- Adhere to strict safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in metallurgy or related field preferred
- Previous experience operating industrial furnaces is a plus, but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Familiarity with biometric passport procedures is preferred but not required

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month, with potential for growth based on performance.
