Milling Machine Operator


We are a reputable manufacturing company based in Nairobi, seeking an experienced, skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our team. As the Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce high-quality products according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in operating milling machines and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Adjust machine controls and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality control standards are met
- Monitor machine operations to detect any defects or malfunctions and make adjustments as needed
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and other instructions
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality before releasing them for further processing
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating milling machines in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of milling machine operation and maintenance
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and other instructions accurately
- Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination
- Own visa for working in Nairobi (Kenyan nationals preferred)

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
