Milling Machine Operator

We are hiring a skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Nairobi. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts and components for various industries. This is an entry-level position suitable for freshers who are looking to gain experience and develop their skills in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Set up milling machines and adjust settings to ensure proper operation
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machine setup and production requirements
- Load raw materials into the machine and monitor feed rates to ensure efficient production
- Operate the milling machine to cut, shape, or drill precision parts according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations
- Troubleshoot issues with the machine and perform basic maintenance as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience operating a milling machine is preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements
- Ability to use hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time

Salary: $1200 per month (with accommodation)
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
