Experienced Mechanic in Nairobi, Kenya

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on various vehicles and equipment. Your main goal will be to ensure the safety and functionality of our fleet, as well as maintaining efficient operations. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide solutions for repairs
- Perform necessary repairs, replacements, or adjustments to ensure proper functioning
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Keep inventory of spare parts and equipment needed for repairs
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of various vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, etc.)
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and dexterity
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical diploma or certification in Automotive Technology or related field
- Experience working with heavy-duty vehicles or machinery
