Junior Instrument Technician

As a Junior Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and equipment used in a variety of industries. This full-time position is based in Nairobi and offers a salary of 1700$. While prior experience is not required, candidates must have a strong interest in instrumentation and be willing to learn on the job. Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior technicians with installation and setup of instruments
- Performing tests and calibrations on instruments
- Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Repairing or replacing faulty parts as needed

- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong interest in instrumentation and willingness to learn
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits is preferred but not required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
