Construction Project Manager


A reputable construction company in Nairobi is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that they are completed within budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project schedules, timelines, and budgets
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment needed for projects
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management
- Extensive knowledge of construction processes, building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders
- Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Nairobi. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently residing in or willing to relocate to Nairobi.

Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided for candidates who do not already reside in Nairobi.

Visa:
Candidates must have their own valid visa or be eligible for a work permit in Nairobi.

This position is not suitable for students as it requires at least 5 years of experience in construction project management.
