Foundry Worker

As a Foundry Worker, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment used in the foundry process. This includes melting, pouring, and shaping molten metal into various molds to create metal parts and products. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of the finished product by inspecting and testing it for any defects or imperfections.

Your main duties will include monitoring and adjusting the temperature and flow of molten metal, preparing molds by cleaning and coating them with refractory materials, and operating machinery such as furnaces, ladles, and molding machines. You will also need to follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace.

To excel in this role, you should have a good understanding of metallurgy and be familiar with different types of metals and their properties. You should also have strong physical stamina as this job may require lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time.

While prior experience in a foundry is preferred, we welcome candidates who are willing to learn on the job. However, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education qualification.

This position offers a salary of $1400 per month, with opportunities for growth within the company. We are located in Nairobi but welcome candidates from all nationalities as long as they are legally authorized to work in Kenya.
