Accountant - Bayan, Kuwait


We are a leading company in Bayan seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$ per month, without accommodation. We welcome Malayalees to apply for this role.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, preparing budget forecasts, and analyzing financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL and prepare accurate and timely financial reports
- Prepare budget forecasts and track expenses against budgets
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations based on findings
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Liaise with auditors to ensure proper compliance and timely completion of audits
- Participate in budget meetings and provide support during the budgeting process
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Accountant (preferably in Kuwait)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Excellent communication skills (English is not required)
- Biometric passport is preferred but not required
