Instrument Technician - Lusail, Qatar


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Instrument Technician to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of instruments used in industrial processes. These instruments may include pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and control valves.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, as well as experience working with various types of instruments. You must also possess excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments or replace faulty ones
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure accuracy
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments
- Interpret technical drawings and manuals for instrument installation and repair
- Keep accurate records of all work performed
- Collaborate with other technicians or engineers to solve complex issues

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
- Familiarity with various types of industrial instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and record keeping abilities
