Cashier in Manama, Bahrain
We are currently hiring a skilled Cashier to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working as a cashier and must be able to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining a balanced cash drawer. You will also handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Process payments using cash or credit cards
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change due to customers
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized
