Pastry Chef

A high-end restaurant in Nizwa is seeking an experienced and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for pastry and baking, as well as a strong understanding of flavor profiles and techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods
- Develop new recipes and menu items
- Ensure quality and consistency in all pastry items
- Train and supervise junior pastry staff
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Adhere to all food safety standards

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
