Executive Chef for a Fine Dining Restaurant in Nizwa

We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team and oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation at our fine dining restaurant in Nizwa. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing menus, managing inventory and food costs, and ensuring the highest quality of dishes are served to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative menus that reflect the restaurant's style and vision
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Oversee food purchasing and inventory management to maintain cost control
- Ensure all food is prepared according to established standards and recipes
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain consistency and excellence
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and manage a team
- Excellent knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, sanitation standards, and safety regulations
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing unique menu items
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus

We offer:
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1700$ per month. Free visa sponsorship will be provided along with a one-way ticket to Nizwa. This position is urgent so we are looking for someone who can start immediately.
