We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Medina, Saudi Arabia. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations in our restaurant and ensuring high-quality food and service. You will be responsible for creating and updating menus, training and managing kitchen staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian cuisine and be able to create innovative dishes while staying true to traditional flavors. This is a contract position with the potential for extension based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Create and update menus according to seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and delegating tasks
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Maintain cost control by minimizing waste, monitoring inventory, and negotiating prices with suppliers
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
- Create innovative dishes while staying true to traditional Indian flavors
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and implement new techniques or ingredients in the kitchen

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Strong background in Indian cuisine is a must
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen
- Creativity in menu planning and ability to adapt to changes based on customer demand or seasonal availability
- Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with front-of-house staff
and suppliers
Contract job details:
Salary: $1800 per month (tax-free)
Contract duration: 6 months with potential for extension based on performance
