Sous Chef - Mediterranean Cuisine
As a Sous Chef specializing in Mediterranean cuisine, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen management. This includes overseeing food preparation, maintaining quality and consistency, creating new menu items, and managing kitchen staff. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating delicious dishes using fresh ingredients. As this is a temporary position with visa sponsorship available, candidates without previous experience are welcome to apply. However, fluency in English is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen
- Work closely with other chefs to ensure quality and consistency of dishes
- Create new menu items that reflect the flavors of Mediterranean cuisine
- Oversee food preparation and ensure timely delivery of dishes
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality control
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
