Librarian - Jizan, Saudi Arabia



We are currently seeking an experienced Librarian to join our team in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library resources, assisting students and faculty with research and reference needs, and maintaining the library's collection. This position is suitable for men and includes accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize library resources, including books, journals, and electronic databases
- Assist students and faculty with research and reference needs
- Maintain the library's collection by cataloguing new materials and weeding outdated or damaged items
- Develop library programs and services to promote information literacy among students
- Collaborate with faculty to integrate information literacy into curriculum
- Train students on how to effectively use library resources
- Stay updated on current trends in library science, technology, and educational pedagogy

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Librarian in an academic setting
- Fluency in English required; fluency in Arabic is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively assist students and collaborate with faculty
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with electronic databases and library management systems

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.

This job is located in Jizan, Saudi Arabia.
