Instrument Technician - Jizan, Saudi Arabia



We are seeking an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician for a contract position in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. This is a great opportunity for an Indian national looking to work abroad and gain valuable experience in the oil and gas industry.

As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of instrumentation equipment used in monitoring and controlling processes in the oil and gas industry. This includes instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, control valves, and transmitters.

Key responsibilities:

- Install and calibrate new instruments according to manufacturer specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on instruments to ensure they are functioning properly
- Keep accurate records of all work performed on instruments
- Work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure proper operation of equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working with electrical systems

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
- Diploma or certification in Instrumentation Technology or a related field
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and principles
- Familiarity with various types of instrumentation equipment used in the oil and gas industry
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Physically fit to work in a demanding environment

This is a contract position with a salary of $1000 USD per month. Accommodation will be provided by the company. Visa sponsorship will also be provided for the selected candidate.
