Entry-Level Dishwasher

As an entry-level dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining area. You will work under the supervision of the head chef and kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly washed and sanitized. You will also assist with other tasks such as taking out trash, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean work area.

Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dishwasher
- Sanitize all dishes and utensils according to health codes
- Ensure proper storage of clean dishes and utensils
- Assist in restocking supplies in the kitchen
- Take out trash from kitchen and dining areas
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Follow all safety procedures while operating dishwasher and handling chemicals
- Communicate any issues or concerns with head chef or kitchen staff

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No previous experience required; on-the-job training provided
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
