Indian Chef in Al-Kuwait

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Chef to join our team at a busy restaurant in Al-Kuwait. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Indian dishes, ensuring high-quality and consistency in taste, presentation, and portion size. You should have a passion for food and be knowledgeable about Indian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques. The ideal candidate will also have experience managing kitchen staff, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Creating and preparing a variety of Indian dishes according to traditional recipes
- Ensuring high-quality standards for taste, presentation, and portion size
- Managing kitchen staff, assigning tasks, and providing training when needed
- Ordering supplies and monitoring inventory levels
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborating with restaurant management to develop new menu items or special dishes
- Following proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role in a busy restaurant setting
- Knowledgeable about authentic Indian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to manage kitchen staff effectively and delegate tasks accordingly
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree or certification in culinary arts would be an advantage.

Location:
This position is located in Al-Kuwait. Preference will be given to candidates already residing in the city.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.
