Head Chef
As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations at our restaurant in Al-Malikiyah. You will lead a team of kitchen staff and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards. Your creativity and passion for cooking will be reflected in the development of menus that showcase both traditional and modern cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and manage a team of kitchen staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency
- Develop creative menus that appeal to our customers’ tastes while also meeting any dietary restrictions or preferences
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen at all times
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop pricing strategies that balance cost-effectiveness with customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also being able to execute traditional recipes flawlessly
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Al-Malikiyah (Candidates from Syria or those willing to relocate preferred)
