Data Mining Analyst
Location: Vianden, Luxembourg


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Mining Analyst to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis in Vianden, Luxembourg. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing large sets of data to identify trends and patterns, and provide valuable insights for our company. Your role will involve using advanced software and techniques to extract relevant information from databases, web sources, and other data repositories. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and be able to work independently. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Collecting and organizing large amounts of data from various sources
- Using statistical methods and software to analyze data sets
- Identifying patterns and trends in the data that can provide valuable insights for the company
- Communicating findings through clear visualizations or reports
- Collaborating with other team members to develop strategies based on data analysis results
- Continuously monitoring data quality and making necessary improvements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Proven experience in data mining, preferably in a business setting
- Strong knowledge of statistical packages (e.g. R) and databases (e.g. SQL)
- Familiarity with web scraping tools and techniques is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)

Salary:
The salary for this part-time position is 1800$ per month.
