Entry-Level Interpreter in Vianden


We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Interpreter to join our team in Vianden. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. This position is perfect for freshers who are looking to start their career in the field of interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between individuals who speak different languages
- Listen carefully and accurately interpret spoken words and sentences
- Convey the tone, emotions, and cultural nuances of the conversation
- Take notes and assist with document translation if needed
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times

Requirements:
- Fluent in at least two languages, including English and at least one other language (preferably French or German)
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to think quickly and remain calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and note-taking skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to pass a language proficiency test

Salary:
We offer a starting salary of 1800$ per month for this full-time position. Additionally, we provide ongoing training opportunities to help you improve your skills as an interpreter.

Location:
This position is based in Vianden, a beautiful city known for its charming architecture and rich history. While fluency in Luxembourgish is not required, it would be considered a plus.
