Concrete Worker



As a concrete worker in Vianden, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the construction and maintenance of concrete structures. Your main duties will include preparing and pouring concrete, smoothing and finishing surfaces, and repairing damaged or cracked areas. You will also be expected to interpret blueprints and follow project specifications to ensure the proper placement and alignment of concrete forms.

To excel in this position, you should have previous experience working with concrete and possess a strong understanding of construction principles. Attention to detail is crucial in this role, as even small mistakes can have serious consequences. Additionally, physical strength and stamina are essential as the job may involve heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or kneeling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare work area by setting up forms or scaffolding
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete using various tools
- Smooth surfaces using hand trowels or power tools
- Repair damaged or cracked areas using appropriate materials
- Interpret blueprints and follow project specifications for proper placement of forms
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations and using personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements:

- High school diploma/GED required
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with concrete
- Strong understanding of construction principles
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing/kneeling
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: $1200 per month (part-time)
