Preservation Architect (Contract) in Clairvaux, France

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team on a contract basis in Clairvaux, France. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. This is a contract position with the opportunity for extension based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine preservation needs
- Develop and implement plans for restoration and preservation, considering historical significance and structural integrity
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful completion of restoration projects
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for restoration work
- Monitor progress of restoration projects and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate records of project details, including costs, materials used, and timeline
- Provide guidance to clients on appropriate maintenance techniques to preserve historic buildings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of historic preservation principles, techniques, and materials
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is $1200 per week.
