Job Title: Glazier


We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team in Remish. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for cutting, installing, and replacing glass in various structures such as buildings, homes, and vehicles. Your main duties will include measuring and marking glass to fit specific openings, cutting and shaping glass using hand tools or machines, and securing glass using putty, rubber gaskets or metal clips.

To be successful in this role, you should have a high attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity. You must also be comfortable working at heights and have good physical stamina as the job may involve heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

As our ideal candidate, you should possess strong mathematical skills to accurately measure and cut glass to fit various shapes and sizes. You should also be able to read blueprints or schematics to determine the type of glass needed for each project. Additionally, knowledge of different types of glass such as tempered or laminated is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark glass according to specifications.
- Cut glass using hand tools or machines.
- Install windows, mirrors, shower doors, etc. in buildings or vehicles.
- Replace damaged or broken glass.
- Secure glass with putty or other materials.
- Remove old or broken putty before installing new glass.
- Follow safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Glazier preferred.
- Excellent manual dexterity with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
- Comfortable working at heights and good physical stamina.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to read blueprints/schematics.
- Knowledge of different types of glass preferred.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
