Part-Time Metal Worker


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Part-Time Metal Worker to join our team in Wiltz. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and equipment according to specifications. Your role will involve working with various types of metals, using different tools and techniques to cut, bend, shape, and weld them.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark metal pieces for cutting or shaping
- Use hand and power tools to cut, bend, shape, and weld metal pieces
- Assemble metal structures or equipment by bolting or welding parts together
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance
- Repair damaged or worn metal components by welding or replacing them
- Operate machinery such as shears, presses, and grinders to shape metal pieces
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working with hazardous materials

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Worker or similar role
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, drills, grinders etc.
- Skilled in welding techniques (MIG/TIG/stick)
- Familiarity with various types of metals including steel, aluminum, copper etc.
- Physically fit for heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures when working with metals
- Availability to work part-time hours on a flexible schedule

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

This position is based in Wiltz.
