Typesetter Supervisor


As a Typesetter Supervisor in Dickirch, you will oversee the typesetting process and ensure the efficient production of high-quality printed materials. Your role will involve collaborating with the design team to ensure all text and images are properly formatted and aligned according to project specifications. You will also be responsible for managing a team of typesetters, providing guidance and training as needed. Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills are essential for this position. This is a full-time role with a salary of $1700 per month, including free visa and ticket.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the typesetting process, ensuring all materials are accurately formatted according to project specifications
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure proper alignment of text and images
- Manage a team of typesetters, providing guidance, training, and feedback as needed
- Review final proofs for accuracy and quality control
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the typesetting process
- Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and techniques
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide timely updates on project progress
- Ensure all deadlines are met by effectively managing time and resources

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a typesetter or in a related field
- Proven experience in managing a team or supervising others
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Knowledge of printing processes and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an asset)
- Degree or diploma in graphic design or related field preferred
