Executive Chef for Indian Restaurant in Sharjah

Seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a popular Indian restaurant in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Indian cuisine and a strong background in managing kitchen operations. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining menus, overseeing food preparation and ensuring high quality dishes are consistently served. You must have at least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in an Indian restaurant setting. Accommodation, free visa and ticket will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- Oversee food preparation to ensure high quality standards are met
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed
- Manage food costs by minimizing waste and optimizing portion control
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for kitchen staff

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in an Indian restaurant setting
- Passion for Indian cuisine with knowledge of different regional dishes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage kitchen staff effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of health codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and evenings

Salary: AED 5,500 - AED 6,500 (depending on experience)

Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
