Petroleum Engineer


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the extraction of oil and gas from underground reserves. This position requires strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the drilling and completion of wells
- Analyze reservoir data to determine optimal production methods
- Monitor well performance and make recommendations for optimization
- Conduct economic evaluations of potential drilling sites
- Collaborate with geologists and other engineers to develop production plans
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Develop new technologies to improve oil recovery processes
- Train and mentor junior engineers

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in petroleum engineering or a related field
- Strong technical knowledge of drilling, production, and reservoir engineering
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Proficiency in industry software such as Petrel or Eclipse
- Experience working on offshore platforms is preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary: 1700$
