Senior Accountant


As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our company in Doha. This includes managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, and conducting financial analysis to assist with decision making. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, as well as internal accounting policies. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational company. Strong communication skills and proficiency in English are required for this role. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is also preferred. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month, and visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.

As our Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company. Your responsibilities will include managing the general ledger, reconciling accounts, and preparing monthly financial reports. You will also be responsible for budgeting and forecasting to help guide our business decisions. Additionally, you will work closely with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and provide support during audits.

To be successful in this role, you must have strong attention to detail and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. You should have excellent analytical skills and be able to interpret complex financial data. Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP is preferred.

As an Indian national working in Doha, you must also have knowledge of local tax laws and regulations. Experience working with Indian accounting standards is a plus. Strong communication skills are essential as you will regularly interact with colleagues from different departments and external stakeholders.
