Junior Librarian

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Librarian to join our team at a library in El-Ain, Egypt. The ideal candidate will be an English-speaking Indian national with a biometric passport. This position is suitable for beginners or non-native speakers who are interested in gaining experience in the library profession.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of library materials
- Help patrons locate books and other resources
- Process new materials for circulation
- Provide basic reference and research assistance
- Monitor and enforce library rules and policies
- Perform routine clerical tasks such as answering phone calls and checking emails

Requirements:
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Indian national with a valid biometric passport
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Interest in libraries and literature is preferred but not required

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.

Location:
The library is located in the city of El-Ain, Egypt. Accommodation will not be provided, so local candidates are preferred.
