Head Pastry Chef


We are a prestigious bakery in the beautiful city of Isa Town, seeking a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pastry department, from creating and developing new recipes to managing inventory and training team members.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new pastry recipes that align with our bakery's brand and quality standards
- Lead and manage a team of pastry chefs, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure that all pastry items are prepared and presented according to established recipes and presentation guidelines
- Maintain inventory levels and order necessary supplies to ensure smooth operations in the pastry department
- Monitor food costs and work with management to develop strategies for cost-efficiency without compromising quality
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve our pastry offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen, following food safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a reputable bakery or restaurant
- Degree or certification from a culinary school is preferred
- Strong knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, tools, and equipment
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment
- Creativity in developing new recipes while also being able to follow existing ones accurately
- Strong attention to detail in plating and presentation of pastries
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Strong passion for pastries with an eagerness to learn new techniques

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this full-time position. The exact salary will be based on your experience level.
