Radio Technician


The Radio Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of radio equipment. They will work part-time in Khasab and must have a keen understanding of radio technology and its components. The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology and be able to work under pressure in urgent situations. No prior experience is required, but candidates with hands-on experience in radio technology and electrical systems will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair radio equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas, and related components.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise with radio equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety of all radio equipment.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed on each piece of equipment.
- Assist with the development of new radio systems or upgrades to existing systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions accordingly.

Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and basic understanding of radio technology.
- Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in urgent situations.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

Location:
This job is based in Khasab, Oman.

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The candidate must be willing to work on-call during emergencies.
