Operate and maintain various types of machines in a manufacturing setting, such as lathes, mills, and grinders. Monitor machine operations to ensure efficiency and quality production. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Must have experience in machine operation and be able to read blueprints and use measuring tools. Knowledge of basic math and mechanical principles is essential.
